Bus 159 and the night line 242
The cheapest option during the day. From outside the terminal, line 159 takes you to Rondo Kaponiera near the centre in about 25 minutes, and from there a tram connection reaches the whole of Poznań. At night, line 242 runs instead. The ticket costs a few PLN and you buy it from the machine at the stop or in the app. Departures are frequent by day, but in the evening the gaps grow longer, so check the timetable if you land late.
Best for: travelling light and paying the least.
The L express bus
Line L is the faster link from Ławica to the centre, with fewer stops along the way. The ride takes about 20 minutes and the fare is close to a standard city ticket. It is a good choice when time matters but you would rather not pay for a taxi.
Best for: a budget option that is quicker than line 159.
Taxi from the rank
Taxis wait outside the terminal. The ride to the centre is usually 40 to 60 PLN, more in traffic or in the evening, and the meter total is hard to predict in advance. The short distance from Ławica makes a taxi cheaper here than in bigger cities, but even so you will not know the price until you arrive.
Best for: door to door, with no planning ahead.
Private transfer at a fixed price
The driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign, helps with your luggage and drives you straight to your hotel. The price is set in advance: from 179 PLN (ca. 45 EUR) per car from Ławica airport to the centre (1 to 3 people), whatever the traffic or the hour. We track your flight number, so if the plane is late the driver still waits, and a child seat is included in the price.

Book a transfer from ŁawicaWhat to choose?
Travelling alone, light and by day, take line L or 159. If every PLN counts, take the ordinary city bus. If you have luggage, children, a late flight or simply want peace of mind, take a door-to-door transfer at a fixed price. You will find all the rates in the Poznań pricing, and the individual routes in the routes section.
