City bus 106

This is the most popular option during the day. Line 106 runs from in front of the terminal and drops you near the main station and the centre in about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic. A public-transport ticket costs a few zloty; you can buy it from the machine at the stop or in the app. At night, line 249 replaces the 106, but less often, so check the timetable if you land late.

Best for: you travel light and want to pay the least.

Rail and a change

There is no direct rail line from in front of the terminal. You can take a bus to the railway station and then head deeper into Lower Silesia by train, but for the ride into the centre of Wroclaw itself the railway saves little time. This option makes sense mainly when you head straight out of town from the airport, for example towards the Karkonosze Mountains.

Best for: you are travelling further than the centre.

Taxi from the rank

Taxis wait outside the terminal. The ride to the centre is usually 50 to 80 zloty; in heavy traffic and in the evening it can cost more, and the meter is hard to predict upfront. It is worth asking for an estimate before you get in.

Best for: door to door, with no planning ahead.

Private transfer with a fixed price

The driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, helps with the luggage and takes you straight to your hotel. The price is agreed upfront: from 200 PLN (approx. 50 EUR) per car from Wroclaw-Strachowice airport to the centre (1 to 3 people), whatever the traffic or time of day. We track your flight number, so if the plane is late the driver still waits. Child seats are included.

What to choose

Travelling alone, light and during the day, hop on bus 106. If every zloty counts and you have time, that same bus does the job for the least money. With luggage, children, a late flight, or if you simply want calm after the journey, take a door-to-door transfer at a fixed price. You will find all the fares for airport runs and day trips across Lower Silesia in the Wroclaw price list.
