Warsaw Uprising Museum
A multimedia, moving account of the 63 days of fighting in 1944. Replicas, recordings, a model of the ruined city and a hall with the beating heart of the uprising. POLIN: a thousand years of history
Set on the grounds of the former ghetto, the museum tells a thousand years of Jewish presence in Poland, from the Middle Ages to the present day. The modern permanent exhibition leads you through successive eras. Here too, plan about two hours. In front of the building stands the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes.
