The Hel Peninsula is a 35-km sandy spit jutting into the Baltic. The one-day trip covers the village of Hel itself — with the lighthouse (41 m tower, viewing terrace), seal sanctuary (the only facility in Poland rehabilitating seals) and the Fishery Museum.
The route from Tri-City is approx. 90 km via road 216 — through Władysławowo, Chałupy, Kuźnica, Jastarnia and Jurata. We make a short photo stop in each of these villages. In summer add 20–30 min for traffic.
