The bus from Jasionka to Rzeszów

The cheapest option during the day. The L city line runs from outside the terminal and drops you near the main station in Rzeszów in about half an hour. The ticket is a few PLN, bought from the machine or the driver. Services are fairly regular, but they thin out in the evening and at weekends, so if you land late, check the timetable so you don't get stuck at the stop.

Best for: travelling light, with time to spare, wanting to pay the least.

There are usually taxis waiting outside arrivals. The ride to the centre of Rzeszów is most often 50 to 80 PLN (ca. 13 to 20 EUR), pricier in the evening or in heavier traffic, and the meter fare is hard to predict in advance. For the city itself it's a reasonable option; less so if you want to carry on into the Bieszczady, because the meter keeps climbing with every kilometre.

The driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, helps with the luggage and takes you straight to your hotel or the address you give. The price is set in advance: from 200 PLN (ca. 50 EUR) per car from Jasionka to Rzeszów (1 to 3 people), whatever the time or the traffic. And if you're heading straight into the Bieszczady?

Many travellers land at Jasionka precisely to head south: to Sanok, to Solina or deep into the mountains. By public transport that means going through Rzeszów with changes and long waits, because there are practically no direct connections from the airport into the Bieszczady. A private transfer runs straight from the airport to your guesthouse: to Sanok from 550 PLN (ca. 138 EUR) per car, to Solina and the Bieszczady from 750 PLN (ca. 188 EUR) per car one way. With luggage and children, it's usually the most sensible choice.

Travelling alone, light and by day, with the city itself as your goal? Take the L bus. Care about time and comfort to the centre? Take a taxi or a door-to-door transfer.
