Wrocław’s Market Square is one of the largest medieval town squares in Europe, ringed with colourful townhouses and dominated by its magnificent Gothic town hall. The walk leads through the Market Square, Salt Square, the old university quarter and the oldest part of the city — the cathedral island of Ostrów Tumski, where a lamplighter still lights the lanterns at dusk.
Along the way we look out for Wrocław’s famous dwarfs — several hundred little bronze figures scattered across the whole city.
